JPL PROFILE Journal of Policy and Leadership is an international quarterly peer reviewed academic journal published, housed and sponsored by Center for Policy and Leadership, School of Public Administration and Management at Mzumbe University (Tanzania).

JPL has been restructured for relevance, and is published every January, June and November. It’s ISSN No. is 2619-8940 granted by the Tanzania Library Service Board(TLSB).

The Journal was initially known as JPL, and has been in existence since the year 2010.

It aims at providing academicians, consultants, practitioners, professionals, and other stakeholders with a scholarly forum for exchange of knowledge and experience in the areas of public policy, governance and leadership as being a major avenue for disseminating scholarly works.

The objective is to fill the vacuum of relevant information in African countries.

The journal receives contributions by authors from within and outside Tanzania and has an Eleven (11) Editorial Board members including the Chief Editor.

The editors and associate editors who constitute the editorial Board are all academicians of high standing drawn from within and outside Tanzania.

It is this Board that makes the final decision of including an article for publication into the journal.

Publications in the JPL are guided and regulated by vibrant peer review process.
